First time post on blog

Well I've been admiring all the wonderful blogs out there and decided I had to start one too. I'm hoping to post at least once a day but who know. Life might get in the way sometimes.

I'm mostly a Stampin Up fan, but have some stamps from other companies too. My latest aquisition is a Rhonna Farrer Swirls stampset that I got at Wal-Mart. I just LOVE the swirls and would love to get her Flourishes as well.

Here's a card I made this weekend with her stampset and some SU supplies. The background Paper is Magnolia by MME. I love that paper, so much color and all of them coordinate. The swirls are stamped on a window sheet with Black stazon and colored with Pearl Ex and Future floor wax. I stamped some flowers from the set Delight in Life *SU* on DP and cut it out. Then I used my stulus on the back and dry embossed them to make them pop. I finished off the card with some eyelets by MM.
